ABOUT JAY MORRISON
Jay Morrison, also known as "Mr. Real Estate" is a successful real estate investor, realtor, TV personality, entrepreneur, social activist and the CEO and founder of the Jay Morrison Brand and the Jay Morrison Academy, an online real estate school and mentorship program. A high school dropout, at risk youth and three time felon, Jay made a major life transformation for the better over a decade ago and now uses his life experiences and personal story of triumph to empower and impact the lives of thousands of his Academy students, troubled youth, ex-offenders and real estate professionals. Jay made it his mission since the beginning of his journey to teach the value of wealth building, home ownership and financial literacy to those who were historically not provided this critical information. Through his various acts of leadership, mentorship and education Jay has been a critical force in providing the knowledge necessary to not only bridge the wealth gap in the United States but to actually change lives.
A multi-millionaire before the age of 30, Jay was able to become the first African American realtor hired by Prominent Properties a branch of the famed Sotheby’s International Realty and subsequently published his first book, “Hip Hop 2 Homeowners: How WE Build Wealth in America” one year later. These accomplishments coupled with Jay’s national speaking tour all helped to solidify his professional resume as a knowledgeable real estate professional as he also began serving as a real estate expert on NBC's "Today Show" and as a guest celebrity broker on NBC’s "Open House NYC".
Jay continues to build his professional resume as an up and coming real estate developer, public speaker, TV personality and entrepreneur. His success has been documented on BET, he is a continued presence on NBC and has been featured on Hot 97, The Breakfast Club on Power 105, VIBE Magazine, The Huffington Post and more. Additionally, Jay has worked with various high profile clients over the years including the NFL superstars Muhammad "Mo" Wilkerson and Mike "Pops" Adams, media personality Angela Yee and reality show star Melissa Ford to name a few. Since beginning his foray into real estate and entrepreneurship the Jay Morrison Brand is valued at seven figures and Jay has continued to create various lucrative business ventures for his brand while continuing his to have a positive impact on the lives of the underserved.
